Prompt Template Library

The Templates panel gives you a library of ready-made prompts for common tasks, so you don't have to write the same requests from scratch every time. Selecting a template drops its full text into the chat input, ready to send as-is or edit first.

Using Templates

Open the Templates section in the MCP Pro N-panel, browse by category, and click a template to load it into the chat input.

Built-In Categories

Scene Setup

  • Three-Point Lighting — sets up a professional three-point rig using area lights for key and fill, and a spot for rim.
  • Product Render Setup — a clean product-render scene: neutral background plane, product lighting preset, camera at 35mm aimed at origin.
  • Game Engine Prep — applies transforms, triangulates, checks UV coverage, and validates all meshes in the scene against a 5,000-face-per-object budget.

Mesh Cleanup

  • Clean Active Mesh — merges vertices by distance, removes doubles, recalculates normals, and reports face count and issues.
  • Optimize for Realtime — decimates every mesh in the scene to under 5,000 faces while preserving shape, reporting before/after counts.
  • UV All Objects — runs Smart UV Project (angle limit 66°, island margin 0.02) on every mesh without existing UVs.

Export

  • Export All FBX — exports every visible mesh as an individual FBX, asking for the output folder first, applying transforms and triangulating for UE5.
  • Export Scene GLB — exports the whole scene as a single GLB to the desktop, with materials and modifiers applied.
  • Validate Before Export — checks every mesh against a 10,000-face budget and reports UV overlaps or naming issues before you export.

Materials

Additional templates cover common material and shading tasks — check the panel directly for the current list, as new templates are added in updates.

Tip

Templates are meant as starting points, not fixed scripts — edit the loaded text before sending to add details specific to your scene (object names, target platforms, specific budgets), since the AI works from whatever text ends up in the input field, template or not.
